James’ Place provides a safe, non-medical environment where men can talk openly and quickly receive focused and compassionate treatment.

Supporting the charity  through Stirring Stuff at Christmas is Belinda’s way of honouring her husband’s memory, while helping other families who might be facing similar struggles.

Belinda’s late husband took his own life six years ago. At that time she had no idea that services like James’ Place existed, places where men in suicidal crisis can receive immediate, focused and compassionate counselling. Belinda believes that if they had known about this kind of accessible support, things may have been different.
